Tim Confer – President & Chief Executive Officer
Tim Confer is the President & Chief Operating Officer for Northern Air Systems. Mr. Confer has 25+ years experience of specialized manufacturing, installation, design and service in refrigeration air conditioning systems worldwide. He formed NAS in 1998, launching their first product of cooling mobile MRI systems for GE Semens and Philips. Mr. Confer is a 1996 graduate of Oswego University.
Will Rausch – Director of Engineering
Will Rausch is the Director of Engineering for Northern Air Systems. He has demonstrated success in leading Northern Air’s design efforts in his over 10+ years of experience with the company. Will has introduced and implemented the use of 3-D computer aided drafting on all product designs and has helped lead and maintain a “quality first” design mentality which is evident in all Northern Air systems.
Will holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His dedication, determination, and hands-on design experience has helped lead to the success and progression of Northern Air Systems.
Bill Gutheim – Consulting Engineer
Bill Gutheim is a consulting engineer for Northern Air Systems. With more than 38 years of experience in design and manufacturing, he comes to NAS as the former chief engineer at Carrier Transacold.
Mr. Gutheim graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. He also is a graduate from Syracuse University with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
Joseph “Nick” Gangemi is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. Upon graduation Nick joined Trane Company where he was a sales engineer for a number of years.
His vast work experience includes sales engineering for both large and small HVAC firms and as a regional sales manager for Data Aire. Nick is currently the Vice President of Sales for Northern Air Systems. He has filled numerous civil and professional posts including President of the local district school board, Rochester ASHRAE Chapter President and ASHRAE RVC for Membership and Assistant Regional Chair for Region I. He is also a member of ASHRAE’s TC 9.9 Technical Committee, and program chair for TC9.9.
Nick’s 35 years of HVAC industry experience makes him a much sought after technical and dinner speaker having presented for Uptime Institute, Data Center Journal, AFCOM, 7X 24 Exchange, DOE Save Energy Now, NYSERDA and numerous ASHRAE chapters.
